#WWC17: Indian Women Win Against West Indies In The World Cup

West Indies women were no match to Indian squad today as Indian women cricketers clinched the second and valuable match of their World Cup campaign. West Indies carried a score of 183 despite as India couldn't show a good fielding effort at today's match, at the ongoing ICC women’s World Cup.

But as Smriti Mandhana and captain Mithali Raj got together from India's side, they dominated the whole game. High on Smriti Mandhana's (106) century and a steady partnership between the two was the pillar of a match-winning. Raj hit a well made 46 runs. The unbeaten 20-year-old Mandhana took up the responsibility after Raj's wicket to score her 2nd ODI century and enabled India enter into their next game. India beat West Indies by 7 wickets in 42.3 overs.

Smriti Mandhana won the Player of the Match award for her 108-ball 106 run knock. With two successful games in the pocket for India, they move to 4 points.

India next play Pakistan on Sunday, 2nd July.
