US: 3 Indian Women Died In Overspeeding Accident In South Carolina

The three deceased Indian women are originally from the Anand district of Gujarat and were living in Georgia. They are suspected to be members of the same family

As per the local reports, the deceased were travelling in an SUV on Interstate 85 highway. Initial investigation suspects the vehicle to be overspeeding as it struck a divider resulting in the vehicle flying across all four lanes of I-85 crossing the bridge and getting stuck into a tree beside the bridge that must be around 20 feet above the ground.

The severity of the accident was so intense that the vehicle was found lodged into a tree broken into pieces when South Carolina Highway Patrol, Gannt Fire and Rescue, and Greenville different EWS officers reached the site of the accident. An investigation is underway into how fast the car was driven and the reason for overspeeding. The local authorities were informed after a few family members received a notification alert about the accident that prompted action from the authorities.

Chief Deputy, Coroner Mike Ellis stated to the news channel WSPA, "Very seldom do you see a vehicle that leaves the roadway at such a high rate of speed that it jumps 4-6 lanes of traffic and lands in the trees approximately 20 feet. When you got family, probably related, three deceased it is nothing that you want to ever see."

As per Fox News, the lone survivor of the accident who was driving the vehicle survived the horrid accident and was rushed to the nearby hospital where he is being treated for his injuries, however, further details on his condition are unknown as it's a developing story.
