Anindita Janhavi Suara, from Koraput district in Odisha, has a big reason to celebrate. She participated in an international poetry competition conducted online by the United Kingdom's Tourism Department and her poem has been shortlisted. Now she will be the only Indian girl among 50 contestants to represent the country.
“It was a worldwide participation. Over 20,000 had participated in the competition in which I am in the top 50. I wish to be in top 5 in the final round to make my country proud."
Anindita, who aspires to be a poet in the future, currently studies in Vikram Deo College in Jeypore. She is looking forward to gaining recognition from popular poets for her poems through this competition.

She used a social media platform to send her poems for the Newark and Sherwood Poetry Competition. An online voting took place after which she emerged as one of the top contestants.
“It was a worldwide participation. Over 20,000 had participated in the competition in which I am in the top 50. I wish to be in top 5 in the final round to make my country proud in UK Tourism Department,” said Anindita, as reported by Deccan Chronicle.
The top five poems with the most likes will be displayed at the National Civil War Centre, Newark. The poet with the maximum number of likes will win a heritage break in Newark.

“I did my best to reach up to the last step of the competition. Now it is not in my hand as the fifth and final step is of public voting. Therefore, I request everyone to bless me with their votes which would help me winning the prize,”, she told KalingaTv.com
