The semi-finals of Hockey India 7th Senior Women National Championship ‘B’ Division were held in Rohtak on April 21. Hockey Rajasthan took on Hockey Madhya Bharat in the first semi-final, and Hockey Him took on Hockey Coorg in the second for a place in the finals.

In the first game, Hockey Rajasthan, produced a master class to defeat Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1 and take their place in the finals. Braces from Situ Poonia (13’, 48’) and Raju Ranwa (20’, 57’) were enough for Hockey Rajasthan who dominated the game constantly and never allowed them any space for a comeback. Hockey Madhya Bharat’s lone goal was scored by Kratika Chandra in the 38th minute.

In the second semi-final, Hockey Him, beat Hockey Coorg 6-0 to enter the final. Hockey Him started the scoring as early as the 4th minute with their captain Sarita giving them the lead. Sarita scored a hat trick (4’, 30’, 48’, 53′) and was assisted by goals from Sharmila Devi (7’), Saroj (16’) in their victory.Hockey Madhya Bharat will face Hockey Coorg in the 3rd-4th place match at 3:00 PM while Hockey Rajasthan will take on Hockey Him in the finals at 4:30 PM.
