One of India’s few successful female producers, Shrishti Arya took up television at a time few were willing to experiment. She makes bold programs and goes with her gut feel. She made a successful debut with her daily soap ‘Lipstick’ which aired on Zee TV. And now Shrishti is making waves for her later production Reporters, a program on journalists and the ethics of news. She is already observing the world of digital and how that’s evolving with opportunities.

The daughter of producer Ramesh Behl and sister of filmmaker Goldie Behl, Shrishti has been through several challenges in life, most of all losing her father earlier on. She reportedly took up a job in marketing at a young age of 15 just to earn some pocket money. The sudden demise of her father meant that she and her brother had to shoulder the entire responsibility of their production house Rose Audio Visuals.
