Gurgaon's toll booth, which are run entirely by women, saw a horrifying incident on Thursday morning (Dec 7). A driver reportedly attempted to hit the woman toll tax collector at lane no. 23 of Kherki Daula toll plaza. He also verbally abused her because she asked him to pay the toll amount.
The woman did now allow him free passage and the whole incident is recorded on the CCTV camera.
The man sitting in the car reportedly hurled abuses at the woman. He put his hand out of the car and tried to hit the tax collector through the toll booth window
The Gurgaon Police have registered a case against the man. “We have details of the vehicle as well as the identity of the owner. We are conducting further investigations and expect to nab the accused very soon,” Inspector Yashwant, SHO of Kherki Daula police station, said, Indian Express reported.
The Agra-based woman said in the FIR that she was doing her duty as she usually does and this made the driver angry. She identified the man as he showed her some documents before he assaulted her. His name is Kuldeep Yadav and he comes from Shikohpur.
“He got out of his car and began hurling abuses at me. He then pushed aside the boom barrier. When I asked him to speak with respect, he threatened to kill me,” the woman told the police.

Not just that, the man also warned to kidnap her and do such things that she won't be able to "show her face to anyone".
“He tried to enter the booth but when other employees stopped him, he pushed his hand through the window and hit my chest and tried to tear my clothes,” she claimed
The video shows the man trying to enter the toll booth but the male employees of the toll plaza stopped him. This is when he left the scene and drove off.
“Toll plaza officials have done enough to ensure our safety. We have male employees with us inside or near the booths, and we only work in the day shift. But commuters also have to be inclined to treat us with respect,” said another woman toll tax collector. The women wait for the police to arrest the accused.
