Calling her start-up "Grow Green Happiness" a 'blessing in disguise', Priyanka, who is based in Noida, tells SheThePeople.Tv that it was her husband's proclivity towards plants that gave birth to the idea of starting something that gave them a platform to share their passion for plants with like-minded people.

"One day while chit-chatting, we realised that we are overspending on these plant varieties," she recalls.

"We felt the need to make these exotic plants species accessible to common people as well since they come with heavy price tags. Also, what was missing was a single platform where any and every type of garden requirement is addressed. That led to the idea to start Grow Green Happiness earlier this year. Our aim is to spread greenery at affordable prices."

"Ours is a perishable business. Plants need proper care during handling and transportation. Our first few packets got damaged, but we learnt by experience,"- Priyanka

Their team specializes in Air Purification Plants, Succulents, Cacti Bonsai Trees and Mame Bonsai, Penjing, Pots & Planters, Bonsai & Penjing Trays, Miniature Garden Toys and Garden Equipment & Accessories.

Priyanka's journey with Grow Green Happiness has been replete with challenges. Giving an insight into some of the problems she grapples with, she says, "Ours is a perishable business. Plants need proper care during handling and transportation. Our first few packets got damaged, but we learnt by experience."

She specifies how handling such a business requires them to educate the client base about the conditions of the place where the plant is to be kept along with the conditions of the plants. "Plants requires attention and care. It is imperative for our staff to ensure care instructions to the buyer of the plant. We understand the hectic lifestyle of metro locations and apartment culture. And for that very reason, our emphasis is always on low maintenance plants that are rare, unique and very eye-catching."

"Whenever I take a quick break and see my green beauty next to me, I feel so relieved."
