Satya Nadella says that there is a policy prohibiting inappropriate conduct

"The Microsoft of 2021 is very different from the Microsoft of 2000," he said. "To me and to everyone at Microsoft, our focus on our culture, our diversity, our inclusion, and in particular the everyday experience of our people, is super important. It's a huge priority. And not just in the abstract sense. It's about the lived experience. This is about being able to confront your fixed mindset each day so that we can improve," he said.

Nadella then also added that the company will do everything to investigate the issue, and that they have no 'forced arbitrations.'

The Indian-American business executive, Nadella, added that executives should never abuse the power that they have. He also said that everyone in the workplace should feel comfortable enough, to raise any issues, so that the company can easily investigate it.

He also reiterated that Microsoft had a 'policy prohibiting improper behavior among executives' in action, since 2006. It is to be noted that there have been several unnamed employees, who have told The New York Times that Gates' behaviour made them feel 'uncomfortable.'
