The Oscar winning film The Danish Girl stars Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander and was to be aired on Sony Le PLEX on Sunday, 26 March. The film has Eddie playing Elbe, one of the first recipients of a sex reassignment surgery and it won an Oscar for Alicia in the Best Supporting Actress category last year.
The channel tweeted about their inability to telecast the film as they had not received the necessary certification to broadcast it.
