"The film's very struggle to release has itself become a metaphor for the thing that it shows - women's struggle to break out everyday," said theatre actor Danish Hussain as the news came out.

At the beginning of this month, this celebrated film had also won the third annual Audience Award at the Glasgow Film Festival 2017.

While the film received laurels worldwide, India’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on February 23 refused to certify this film because of some baseless reasons. They censored it, claiming to be too ‘lady-oriented’ film and that it could spoil youngsters and the female sex! This women-centric film rebels against the stereotypes, winning love from across the globe.
