Hillary Clinton is to publish a book of personal essays by Simon and Schuster later this year, according to the Associated Press. The inspiration behind the books is the ‘favourite quotations she has drawn upon’. The book will also reflect on Clinton’s 2016 presidential race against Donald Trump, and will also draw some material on losing the race to him.

“These are the words I live by,” Clinton said in a statement. “These quotes have helped me celebrate the good times, laugh at the absurd times, persevere during the hard times and deepen my appreciation of all life has to offer. hope by sharing these words and my thoughts about them, the essays will be meaningful for readers,” said Clinton in a statement.

She is also working on an illustrated children’s version of her 1995 book It Takes a Village, the proceeds of which will go to charity. She is the author of many books, including Hard Choices; Living History; Dear SocksDear Buddy: Kids’ Letters to the First Pets

Clinton is to resume public speaking, according to the Associated Press. She will speak at the LGBT Community Centre in New York on April 20 and is to give the commencement speech at her alma mater, Wellesley College.

She has been an avid supporter of the women’s march.

The book is still untitled and there is speculation that Katy Perry will write the forward. We certainly can’t wait to read the book.
