"We make healthy wholesome edibles and drinks. They taste great. It's simple, we use ingredients that come from the Earth and bring them together in harmony with the taste that packs a punch. Health is your biggest asset so we help you go back to your Roots, where the secret to good health lies. One day we just kind of started experimenting in the kitchen and ideas were born. Since then it's just been something new every single day and it's super exciting. I'm lucky to have parents whose business skills are seriously on-point, so that's definitely rubbed off as well."

How difficult or easy was it to start the business?

"Home deliveries were a real challenge for me. When I started out I had no delivery boys so it was just me and my car full of goodies. Driving all over the city and trying to get deliveries done on time - rain or shine was a real challenge, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I think starting out small teaches you so much and shapes you as an individual while really helping you realise where you can actually take your business. "

Did you start out as a home entrepreneur? How did you leverage social media to your advantage?

" Yes I started out from home, I still work out of home and a kitchen. My mom has a cafe in Spain and that is really stunning and has such a good vibe. Social media is a superb tool and if you get it right then it makes a big difference. Everybody is on some or the other platform so it's about paying attention to detail and getting the message across. "

Do you think entrepreneurship is glorified in today's world?

I think it's something that every kid who's figuring life out needs to strive towards. What is entrepreneurship? The capacity and willingness to develop, manage and successfully grow your business - if someone is doing that, then big ups!

Don't fear stepping out of your comfort zone, you need to spread your wings and fly!

Any advice to budding startup founders?

"If you have a dream and if you believe you can turn it into something big. Just do it. Quit your job, stop the excuses, move countries, do whatever it takes but just go for it. Yeah it's gonna be tough, you will struggle and you're going to have to hustle but don't fear stepping out of your comfort zone, you need to spread your wings and fly!"
