Further Shah said that there was a lot that she tried to tell them but understood that their attention span was only (showed a hand gesture indicating little). “To put it short and sweet, I always tell my sons to treat others the way you expect to be treated yourself. It’s really just as simple as that,” stated the Delhi Crime actor.

Shefali Shah On Facing Street Harassment

Answering a question of whether she has personally faced street harassment, the actor disclosed that she has and believes that most women have. She recalled that she was really young when she was in a market, going back home from school, when she was harassed on the street. “I couldn’t do anything about it. I was too young, and I was just scared, and no one stood up. I mean, it was crowded, but that’s not a justification, but I guess almost all women have somewhere dealt with it,” she elaborated on the incident.
