WATCH: India Love Project Inspired 'Love Storiyaan' Trailer Out

Prime Video India has unveiled Love Storiyaan, a captivating six-part series that delves into the remarkable love tales of six real-life couples. Inspired by the narratives showcased on the India Love Project, a social media initiative spearheaded by former journalists Priya Ramani, Samar Halarnkar, and Niloufer Venkatraman, this Amazon Original Series is set to premiere on Valentine’s Day, February 14, on Prime Video India.

The series, conceptualised by Somen Mishra and backed by filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment, promises to showcase heartwarming stories of love, resilience, and triumph over obstacles from various corners of India. Directed by a lineup including Akshay Indikar, Archana Phadke, Collin D’Cunha, Hardik Mehta, Shazia Iqbal, and Vivek Soni, Love Storiyaan aims to captivate audiences with its authentic portrayal of genuine human connections.

Karan Johar expressed excitement about Dharmatic's debut in showcasing real-life love narratives. He emphasised that Love Storiyaan goes beyond mere storytelling, portraying love in its myriad forms and celebrating the resilience of individuals who defy societal norms and obstacles to find true love.

He added, "These are stories of real people, from different backgrounds, who faced colossal roadblocks in their journey of finding true love and shown tenacity and persevered by powering through the barriers of culture, faith, gender or even war."

Love Storiyaan is inspired by The India Love Project, which was an online initiative aimed at addressing the growing prejudice against interfaith, intercaste, and interethnic marriages.
