Doctor Strange 2 OTT Release Date is finally announced. Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse Of Madness is a sequel to the 2016 Doctor Strange of the Marvel series of movies.
Doctor Strange 2 is yet another movie in the Marvel franchise revolving around Dr Stephen Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) life. The sequel features Benedict Cumberbatch along with Xochitl Gomez, Elizabeth Olsen, Patrick Stewart, Bruce Campbell, and others. The film was announced back in July 2019 but had to be delayed due to COVID-19. The shooting was restarted in March 2021 and the movie was released on May 2 in the US and May 6 2022 in India.
The synopsis of the movie states "Dr. Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens a portal to the multiverse. However, a threat emerges that may be too big for his team to handle." This movie is directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron. Doctor Strange 2 is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This film has earned Rs 50-crore in just two days of its release at the box office in India and is also considered Marvel's first horror genre release.
In Doctor Strange 2, Stephen Strange will cast a forbidden spell that will open doors to the multiverse, with it comes more madness and threats, for the audience to watch out for. This movie runs all of 126 minutes. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is all set to be released in all the Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Doctor Strange 2 OTT Release Date
The OTT streaming platform Disney Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights for Doctor Strange 2, much like the first movie, and will release on June 22, 2022. No official announcement has been yet, but reports have speculated that the OTT release might mostly be 45 days after the theatrical release. Until this movie premieres on OTT, Doctor Strange the prequel to the same is available on Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar.
