Just a day after the tragic news that Carrie Fisher had passed away of a heart attack at the age of 60, news broke that her mother actor Debbie Reynolds died of a heart attack. She was 84. Her last words were reportedly, "I want to be with Carrie".

Her death was confirmed by her son Todd Fischer. The eminent actor who set the screen on fire in the 50s and was known to be incredibly close to her daughter. She had written a post on Facebook to thank her daughter’s fans for their condolences.
“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter,” she wrote. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.”
Reynolds was the star of the 1952 classic, Singin' in the Rain.
She tweeted often about her daughter, in happier times.
"I live right in front of my daughter. I have a little house right in front of her because I can stay in touch. It's like a little commune, and it's very nice, because you can be close. I can see my granddaughter. I live very close to my brother, too, and my son. We're a very close family." -- Debbie Reynolds
