Creativity is an attitude says Manisha Bhattacharya one of India's most celebrated ceramic artists. Her work resonates with minimalism, strength and power and embodies her impressions of the changing world. As a Fulbright scholar, Manisha has travelled the world with her works in Raku which is a traditional form of Japanese ceramic art.

 

She has been trained from the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University on a Fulbright Fellowship in 2003-2004. Before that she was awarded the Charles Wallace India Trust Award in 2001, which took her to the School of Art& Design, University of Cardiff. She has also studied under Jane Hamlyn in Leeds,UK. on an Inlaks Grant. A disciple of Ray Meeker, Manisha's pottery has been exhibited around the world's most prestigious art events.
