A crisp morning, cutting through Delhi’s din down to a special session of Yoga in the capital. I was out and about, like I haven’t been before. Stretching and learning some easy yoga poses at one of the events celebrating this special day. I was out on the mat with a lot of young women where I got a primer in what’s a science of over 10000 years old embedded in India’s own history. From Rigveda to the carvings in pre-historic eras, yoga seems to have been part and parcel of our storied knowledge of health.

This video is a timelapse of the story of yoga and how it cuts across cultures and age.
